First Spring Flower

Today I found the first spring flower in my yard. It is one of my spring crocuses. There were four or five of them bloomed out scattered at the edge of my flower bed. Forget what the calendar says...it's May already here on the river!!

Beautiful February Day on the River

The crew, Mom, Jeanne, Emily, Terry and I with all the dogs...5 of them in total decided that such a beautiful sunny day shouldn't be passed up so we went on a hike down the river on the Oregon side.

Along the way we saw Elk on the idaho side and geese etc. We hiked from the end of the road to McGraw creek before we ran out of light. Didn't really want to do the trail after dark!
