The weather was perfect for a hike after church on Sunday, so we grabbed the dogs (just Hazel and Lupine) and went for a hike. We hiked the powerline road above Pine Creek. We only had one minor mishap....Lupine came charging off the hill at the beginning of the hike and hit me and dropped me like a linebacker sacking a QB. All Terry heard was a hummmmph as I hit the dirt. He turned around and saw me laying in the road and gave me a really funny look and then helped me up. Luckily he didn't say anything smart-eleky! When I explained that Lupe had tackled me he was a bit more sympathetic. He just thought I was clumsy! Well, I dusted off my britches and we went to the top (one eye on the dog at all times :-/ ). On the video you can hear Hazel breathing like a fat lady on a stair climber....sorry video did load, but the mental image should be sufficient!!
