Time to press up some cider. Emily, Brian, Dan and Dave feed the beast!
Terry and Dave empty the "done been squeezed" apples for composting.
Dan, Brian and Dave
The quality control team table. We get all the bad spots and worms before they become part of the "organic" apple cider. Pictured are Melissa, Mom, Me, Emily and Rush. For those of you out there who are going, "that sure doesn't look like Emily and Melissa" you are partially right. Melissa is Daves wife, they are friends of ours that had come up from So CA to visit and Emily is a friend of Melissa (our daughter) who came over with Brian to help with the process.
The Boys gettin it done.
Emily takes her turn at the business end.
Fruit juices of our labors
Jeanne and Terry straining the big chunks out.
Granny was QC
The little boys, Dave and Melissas sons, take advantage of the fire to "roast" some leaves.
More Quality Control going on.
Dan, either resting up for the press or resting up afterwards.
